I have a krzr1 cell I bought on ebay, yet the ESN number on it is still active, and the owner of it won't answer my emails. What can I do to change the ESN number so that it can work?How do you change the ESN number on your cell phone?
You don't. Changing it is illegal. Never buy a CDMA phone on eBay before checking the ESN number first. If the seller refuses to give you the ESN number, then don't buy it from that person. This is one reason. Another is the ESN number could be blocked due to non-payment or being reported lost or stolen. Maybe you could try going through eBay or PayPal(if you used PayPal to pay) if the seller still doesn't respond.How do you change the ESN number on your cell phone?
I purchased a cell phone for my g/f to active on her parents account. They stopped paying the bill, I couldn't remove the phone. So I got a phone off ebay for $11 broken. I used the case from the original phone and main chip from the ebay phone. Activated.
