Help with ESN number?

I currently have an LG Voyager from Telus on a 3 year contract. I still have about 2 years left.

If I buy an unlocked Blackberry Tour, can I changed the esn number to be the same as my Voyager, so I can use both? Would that even work? (and HOW would that work)

This is pretty random... I am not even fully thinking it through - just kind of wondering.

My sister uses Rogers and they have sim cards; so she uses 3 different phones with one sim card. Telus does not have sim cards though.Help with ESN number?
I don't have Telus, but I do have Verizon (both CDMA networks). Each phone will have a unique ESN. Therefore, only one phone's ESN can be linked to your account at a time. Be careful too if you decide to change to a Blackberry. If Telus is like Verizon, you will have to subscribe to a Blackberry data plan + your standard phone plan just to use a Blackberry device.

SIM cards are generally used on GSM networks and since the sim card contains all the user information, they can be easily changed from phone to phone without any problems.Help with ESN number?
it depends. try calling *228 from the phone. if it goes to an activation menu it mite let you change the phone from there. otherwise, contact your carrier.
