How do i go about disconnecting a esn #from an existing acc. to a pre pay acc. when dont know prior info?

i just wanna esn change if not ability to add mins to the existing pre paid but its saying not recognizing authentication for my phone and i tried to program it etc no luck its a motorolla v265 please help..thanksHow do i go about disconnecting a esn from an existing acc. to a pre pay acc. when dont know prior info?
Most prepay plans out there have a 60 day maximum on how long you can be out of minutes or from the expiration date so if you are sure that you are within 60 days then something may be wrong w/ the phone itself. If over 60 days then you may have lost your old prepay phone number. If this is the case then you will need to call your prepay provider's toll free number to have any minutes you bought put onto the new phone number that they will give you over the phone.

If it is a phone problem and you have another phone that will work with that same prepay provider then you just need to call the provider and ask them to do an esn change. Be sure to call from a landline though so that they can talk you through some troubleshooting if needed.
