you have to speak to a technical support rep and have them do it. if it wasnt prepaid you could just do it online but oh well just give them a call and ask for tech support and explain to them...it worked for me. btw, an ESN or MEID is specific to a certain phone..for example my dad's phone has a different number than mine..its like DNA almost..everyones is slightly different sequence of numbers.

How do i change the ESN of my phone?
I don't really know if that's what I need.. something to do with the ESN.. but i have an old pre-pay phone and want to switch to another one I just got.. verizon said i can do it by calling the 18009220204 number but i dont hear the option on the menu ??How do i change the ESN of my phone?
